It would be wonderful if there was no stigma attached to asking for help from a counsellor - But if you are worried about your privacy or people knowing that you are seeking counselling, because The Old Police Station offers various services, as well as counselling, there are many reasons why you might be visiting our beautiful Grade II listed building. Alternatively, you may want to consider counselling online or by telephone.
PARKING & public transport
Cardigan Old Police Station is in the centre of town above Ty Hedd Hostel. There is free street parking for an hour or pay and display car parks nearby. There are regular bus services into Cardigan from the surrounding towns and villages.
DISABLED ACCESS ALTERNATIVES
Unfortunately, there is no disabled access to my therapy room as it's on the 1st floor - but please don't let that stop you from getting in touch. I'm always happy to discuss other options, which might involve me visiting you in your own home, booking an alternative room at another local venue or conducting sessions online via Zoom or telephone, should you wish to.
Cardigan Town is by the River Teifi and has some unique and lovely coffee shops and places to eat. There's Crwst, Bara Menyn, Stwdio 3 and many more. So if you want or need to refuel or take some quiet time to yourself, before or after your session, you'll find plenty of choice within a few minutes' walk.
